Drift Grand Prix Romania – pictures

This last weekend, Ove, Eva and me was in Bucharest for the Drift Grand Prix Of Romania. All the action took place right infront of the huge building right behind me, the Palace of Parliament! After what I have heard, this is the second largest building in the world… Yeah, in the world! Photos don’t describe good enough how big it is! The event took place over three days, mainly Saturday and Sunday, with practice and qualifying on Saturday, and practice and Top 16 on Sunday!

Drift GrandPrix of Romania

This weekend we are leaving for a huge international event down in Romania! I’m going to jugde the event together with Clarky and Stiggy from England! Ove are also going as he is the co-owner of Drift Allstars!

With so many drivers from all over Europe, this is going to be the biggest and most spectacular drift event in a long time! The madness is going to be showed in front of  World famous Palace of Parliament, on the streets of Bucharest, capital city of Romania!

Anyways, I have now packed my DriftMonkey stuff together with some DC Shoes and are ready for a weekend packed with professional drifting from some of the best in Europe, parade through the streets of Bucharest and party at night!

VIDEO: Follow the Monkeys

New movie is up! This is from the last event that Gatebil had in 2011! It toke place at Rudskogen circuit in Norway, 9-11th of September! I really felt confident in the DriftMonkey 2JZ S15 that weekend and hadn’t it been for some small issues with the car, I think it could gone even better with the competition that weekend. Nevertheless, It was a good ending as a team and I’m really looking forward to next season with the same crew!

Fueled by Monster?

I’m not sure if we will be using Monster Energy Drink to fuel up our Team DriftMonkey cars. Rather think that Sunoco Fuel is better for the cars, but Monster Energy Drink surely will be fueling all the Monkeys up in the future!

That‘s because Team DriftMonkey now are proudly sponsored by Europe`s 2nd biggest Energy Drink company! Monster Energy Norway really liked our team and concept, and after Team DriftMonkey boss Ove Harlem had a meeting this week, it’s official that they are backing us up together with the rest of our great sponsors for the 2012 season!

Me personally, are stoked about this partnership! Just looking at their facebook page and youtube channel it’s clear that Monster Energy Drink really back up their guys and having so much fun!
